God’s Mighty and Wonderful Works at FCS Prayerful consideration of the staff and board led us to pursue investment in the following items as a result of December’s $10,000 anonymous designated donation. The following will be provided for the school:
à
Novels for the 3rd and 4th grades.
à
Chapter reading books to complement the 5th and 6th
grade curriculum.
à
Saxon Math updates for grades 4-6. (This includes enrichment
materials as well.) On the High School level the following will be provided:
à New science curriculum for junior high and 9/10 grade.
à Advance Placement training for Mr. Jergens so that our students can take AP Calculus. Advance Placement courses allow high school students to take college level courses and receive college credit if they score well on the AP exam.
We are still considering the best use of the remaining funds.
